Eds the manager was very friendly and personable, the place is close to the coast, and the vibe is cozy. The only downside is that the view shows a car park in front of the coast, so it’s not scenic.

This is my second visit to the Sherwood and I’ll always come back! The rooms are comfortable, the location is fantastic and just a short walk from Margate’s main spots, and breakfast is always top notch. The hosts are incredibly helpful and friendly, and I wouldn’t choose any other spot in Margate.

The room was clean and bright. The bathroom fan wasn’t working, which let the room smell, and that was a shame.

Comfortable room with a sea view. Nice breakfast -- the staff were really nice and let us leave our bags there early as we were going to a wedding. Price was higher than I would have liked
