“Ok”
The place is well situated and the staff were friendly, but the room was supposed to have a balcony and instead we ended up on a shared terrace outside the room.
“Einfaches Hotel in mega Lage”
We were back for the second time in that same Comfort room with balcony and sea view; it’s spacious, the furnishings are basic, and cleaning only happens if you ask; still the location and view are amazing – literally on the beach! Breakfast is decent for Sri Lanka, the staff are pleasant, and we’d gladly stay there again, but only in that particular room. The only downside was that for five nights the room wasn’t cleaned; if we’d requested it, it probably would have been fine.

The location and the staff’s responsiveness were good, but the plumbing was faulty and the sewage smell was strong.

The room, location, internet, food and staff (Juanita) were all great.
The only advantage was the location. The towels were not even bath‑size but more like face towels, old and frayed; on some mornings there was no water at all. We booked a deluxe room for three people, but the room was very small and the furniture needs an update.
