Located 400 metres from the Murray River, the Birch Motel Tocumwal features free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, and barbecue facilities. The location was very close to town, two separate rooms let kids and adults have their own space, the kitchenette was handy and pets were welcome; however the double bed was too small for two adults and a bit hard, and there were bugs in the corners of the rooms that we couldn’t reach for the kids.

The owners and staff were very helpful and we could bring our old dog with us, which was perfect for traveling with her; the place felt a little outdated but remained very clean.
