The owner runs the place, which always creates a personal relationship. After the first day he offered me to leave my bike overnight in an unused hall. The owner pays close attention to keeping everything as clean and in good condition as possible, and the same goes for the outdoor areas, even a mini playground. Inside everything works fine. The housekeeping staff does a very good job. Breakfast is available from 7 to 9 a.m., very generous and oriented toward Italian tastes, mostly sweet items, but every day I was offered a plate of hearty (cheese, ham) that I gladly accepted. The cakes looked homemade. There is also a fruit salad, yogurt, two types of muesli flakes, and a fully automatic coffee machine each day. Honey, Nutella, and jam come in single servings. The value for money is great! I would book there again anytime. There are plenty of free parking spots on site. The property is slightly off the town of Boario Terme, which I found very pleasant. Traffic noise comes from the nearby bypass road. In the bathroom, there was a sufficient daily supply of shower gel and soap, but individually packaged. Hygienic, but not environmentally friendly. I personally found the mattress too soft, though it wasn’t old. I had a huge roof terrace available, but only a simple plastic chair was there for a few days and it was also collected. It seemed to be the plan “now comes winter.” I was there from mid to late September in great weather. The toilet paper was awful, and it shouldn’t be offered further. I personally prefer soap dispensers, which are cheaper and better for the environment. The single servings look more elegant but create more work and cost more money. The hotel is quite old. Some things are outdated (bath tiles), some tiles are cracked from wall movement. The elevator also feels old and sometimes takes more than one button press to work.
