However, at 5 am I was jolted awake by a sudden TV turning on; the remote was far away, so I didn’t notice until I was in room 212. The smell was harsh—tobacco mixed with air freshener. They advertised a fridge, so I brought a breakfast that needed refrigeration, but the unit was barely big enough for a single bottle of tea, mostly at room temperature. I used the place as a business hotel alternative, but it felt like I should have stayed at a proper business hotel that had more effort put into it. I won’t repeat this stay.
