The place was impeccable for room comfort and welcome. Cleanliness was good but not outstanding. It was well located and had nice art on display inside. The soundproofing was absolutely unsatisfactory. When other guests arrived I could hear almost everything they said, and in general it’s not very pleasant to stay in a room that isn’t properly insulated, even from inside. It wasn’t just that I couldn’t hear the street noises (which are quite busy) – that was acceptable. I thought the bathroom cleaning could be more thorough: a guest wouldn’t want to see dirt on the fixtures, though these things can happen. Some services listed on the welcome sheet weren’t actually available, which made me frown a bit.
