Zhangjiajie Yu Realm Hotel - Ancient Charm & Modern Luxury

The hotel’s location is superb: quiet yet close to everything. The owner, John, actually organized a detailed tour of the area, booked all the park tickets, and explained everything in depth—thanks a lot. The rooms were clean and luxurious, and the free airport pick‑up or drop‑off was very helpful. The rooftop floor even has a lovely cat lounge; it sounds odd but is genuinely nice and pretty. On the downside, the bed made noise and the breakfast was mediocre, but that’s just China.

“Great location, I will return.”

The staff were the best. They were always smiling, they were friendly, accommodating and helped with laundry. Breakfast opened early for those who had early excursions. The room size was great and it is a good location for access to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Qixing Mountain via Ferrata and Great Wall. The manager was lovely; he was the one who showed me to my room and gave me the hotel tour. Free drop-off or pick-up to/from the airport. No complaints at all

“Nice hotel but not what it seemed from photos”

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, and the location was good, but the photos didn’t quite match what I expected in person, and calling it luxury feels exaggerated.
