The room is good in the heart of Venlo, surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. Communication was excellent, and getting into the property and my room was straightforward. I had to leave early and appreciated that a breakfast package was provided for me.

The staff were excellent—very helpful, friendly, and perfect. The accessibility to the rooms is an issue; if you’re disabled like me, reaching a room on the second floor is a hassle because there’s no lift. The staff were ready to bring luggage upstairs, and the rollator could be placed downstairs.

The hotel sits right in the middle of the old town. The breakfast itself was nothing special, but it was presented nicely and served in a very pleasant café. As is common with old buildings in the Netherlands, the stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow.
