The little wooden pod was simple yet comfortable, clean, and warmed up quickly with the small heater. A snack gift was left for us to try. I was very impressed with the nearby kitchen facilities—tea, coffee, a fridge, milk, and cooking amenities were available. Everything was very clean and I liked the overall vibe of the place. I can’t think of any negatives.

Great location, community‑run facilities, excellent price, and flexible, helpful staff. The cabins were small for four people, best suited for two, so that could be clarified when booking.

“Lovely quiet place in a lovely location.”

We needed a quiet spot for a good night’s sleep before heading to the northern isles, and this place was perfect. We could come and go as we pleased, saw no staff, but the keys were left in the door for us. Nothing negative.

“Excellent facilities, central site.”

Clean, and many guests noted how great it was to have free showers, a washing machine, etc. The site served as an excellent base while we were house‑hunting. The kitchen had more equipment than expected—the info only mentioned a microwave, but there was also an induction hob and an air fryer. The pod beds were a bit hard for my old bones. More cooking appliances would help during busy periods when many tent campers use both pods, but otherwise what’s there is fine.

The bed was comfortable, the space was nice, the location was great, and the price was good. I talked to the host and the listing didn’t say we had to bring our own bedding and towels. That’s not a problem if you’re aware, but it’s a big issue if you’re not. Luckily we saw a note on their website when we checked out and we made an emergency stop to grab blankets, towels, and pillows.
