A warm welcome with your little touches. A magnificent seaside location. Dining worthy of a Michelin‑starred restaurant. Nothing negative.

Great central location, such lovely, friendly staff, excellent restaurant with superb food and a very spacious and very clean bedroom with a lovely bed. We were on the third floor with our two dogs and the lift is absolutely tiny, so we needed to make a few trips to bring cases in etc but no real hardship given the lovely location. The shower needed a bit of wrestling with the hose to stop it pointing around the bathroom as it wasn't a fixed pipe or a power shower, but equally not a big problem.

I stayed in a large, bright room with a big bed, and the breakfast was really good with friendly staff. However, the room lacked a mini‑fridge for the price I paid, and the bathtub wasn’t suitable for disabled guests. I didn’t know that some rooms could only be booked on the ground floor, so I had trouble because I was on an upper floor where the stairs and elevator were far apart. I had to climb many steps with luggage to take the elevator. The room was on the side overlooking a derelict plot, which I’d advise against. The food was mediocre and the value for money wasn’t great either.
