Breakfast was okay. The location was good, parking was fine, and the staff were friendly. The mattresses were bad. Only one outlet in the room. No outlet in the very primitive shower cubicle. The mixing taps were hard to control. The shower head was too high and not adjustable, so the comfort room was anything but comfortable.

The hostel is tucked into nature, offering a calm climate and peace. Some of the services didn’t match the description, the laundry is more than 20 minutes on foot away, and the shower splashes everywhere, so you end up cleaning the whole bathroom each time.

The surroundings are nice, and the hotel sits in a beautiful area of Soest. Unfortunately the room disappointed us, especially considering the price we paid; it was quite small and felt uncomfortable, and the shower was subpar, not meeting the expectations for that price and type of accommodation.

The forested location is lovely with plenty of activities and sights nearby, and the price is very tidy. Larger groups can create a bit of bustle, but we barely noticed it and it added to the conviviality.
