Big enough for 2 double bed and enough space for luggage . Close to a metro and a supermarket. 1) need to climb stair to get to 4th floor 2) no washing machine 3) abit hard to find initially. No clear sign and name of the building 4) abit of distant walk from Ueno JR

The location was pretty decent, the metro is a 10‑minute walk away and there are plenty of convenience stores around. The bathroom had mold in the shower cabin and around the sink, the shower was faulty and the shower rod kept coming loose from the wall. The floor of the room was full of stains, giving a dirty feeling. The freezer in the fridge was completely frozen solid. A TV and an air‑conditioning unit were hanging without any instructions or user manuals. There was basically no guidance on clean towels or where to leave your trash. The entrance door of the apartment complex was always open, so you could just walk in from outside, which felt unsafe. There was no communication possible with the host before or during the stay; they didn’t respond at all and didn’t address the complaints or defects.

The only positive was the location. The room was dirty, the bathroom floor was broken, there was black mold behind the sink, the carpet was filthy, and instead of the advertised 40 qm the space was only about 25 qm, which feels like fraud because we booked for a supposedly larger room. We wanted to cancel, but the host refused to cooperate.
