“would stay again excellent value”
The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, yet I couldn’t control the heater and had to sleep with the window open.

The bar staff were great, the food lovely, and the breakfast of high quality—no complaints at all.

The only redeeming part of The Jacobean Hotel was my departure; the place smelled damp, felt like a builder’s yard, and was filthy—broke mattress, slimy hairdryer, dirty carpets, pillows, and duvet with hair and stains. I grew up in Coventry on Dallington Rd, came from MCR overnight to support a local business, and after returning home I had to shower and wash my clothes several times. £90 in any of the big three UK cities would at least let you charge your phone overnight. The staff were like cowboys, and the hotel needs a deep clean and an inspection from Coventry City Council Environmental Health. Avoid booking here!

A great place to stay with friendly staff, excellent restaurant food, and excellent value for money—no issues.

The doors slammed loudly all night, which was very disruptive.
