“Un lugar seguro y cómodo”
I loved the location and the security of both the main entrance and the room door; I just wished I had more time to go out onto the terrace 😃.

The room was a good size and had everything needed for the stay: a mini fridge, a microwave, and cooking utensils, but the shower needed a bit more attention.

The place was very clean and close to the metro, making mobility easy, but room number 5 was terrible: the smart lock was unreliable, there was no window to the outside, it felt like a service room, it was very hot, the floor fan didn’t work well, the only tiny window faced the reception with lights on all night so even with blinds down light and noise seeped in, the single bed was uncomfortable with a bad mattress, it wasn’t the worst accommodation but I wouldn’t return.

I loved EVERYTHING about it. I always return to Escajal because honestly it’s my home away from home. The staff is super responsive and kind. Norma, one of the cleaning ladies, is amazing and goes above and beyond. The cleanliness is impeccable. I’m very picky about cleanliness, so that matters a lot to me. In the Double Suite Plus rooms, the amenities are great and the rooms are well equipped. The rooms are super comfy overall and there’s a great setup for working. The windows open and the shades work really well. Not all of the rooms have these features, so it depends on what you need or prefer. None of the rooms have air conditioning but have fans, so wear loose/light pajamas and shorts to lounge in. There’s an OXXO on the corner. The location is obviously great. What else could you need? The sheets (excluding the pillowcases, which are new) and towels could use replacing entirely — they’re well washed, just a little worn. But knowing they are clean (I can tell) I don’t mind using worn items! After all, it is a hotel, things get used over time.

Everything was excellent!! The only downside was that I had to stay in a room at the reception and everything could be heard.
