Located on a quiet street in Stockholm's fashionable Östermalm district, ProfilHotels Riddargatan is 300 metres from Stureplan Square. This modern hotel features stylish rooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, luxury beds, wooden floors, writing desks, and tea/coffee facilities. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in some rooms. The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet and is within a 10-minute walk to Stockholm's Old Town and the National Gallery.

The location, the suite, and the price were great. It gets very noisy on weekends only because of the bars near the hotel.

I’ve visited the hotel three or four times, and the location is especially good—slightly off the main road but still very central. It’s close to public transport and offers the best of Stockholm, from beach walks and sights to shopping if you wish, and it’s the most affordable. With a bit of luck, you can snag a room for under 1500 SEK. Breakfast is adequate, and it’s nice that check‑out is as late as 12.

Arriving after 11pm because of a train delay, the staff welcomed us warmly as the last guests that night; their friendliness made check‑in pleasant. Breakfast was terrific, offering a wide variety of options that I’d recommend, though it was a touch less impressive than the other three larger hotels I stayed at in Sweden. The shared areas were ample for the hotel’s size, and I liked the little doggie bowl at the entrance for pet owners. I didn’t expect the bathroom to have a clear glass wall, which made the shower feel very public; I would have avoided booking if I’d known. Traveling with a friend made it awkward, so I tried to cover the glass with a towel and pillows. The pillows were large but could have been more supportive, and there was no closet space, though we only stayed one night so unpacking wasn’t an issue.
