The lounges were super comfy and the location was spot on. The accessible room, however, sat at the back of the hotel and you had to navigate a long corridor and stairs with a chair lift; we could also hear the generator while we slept.

Breakfast was good and all the staff were attentive and friendly, but the dinner menu was overpriced and the food didn’t justify the price. Two out of three dinners we couldn’t eat, and one person was sick the next day. Because of the quality and cost of dinner, we only ate there once during our stay.

The spot in the city center was great. I kept having trouble reaching someone at the front desk whenever I needed help.

The place had a fantastic location and being a small hotel meant it was less crowded, which we liked. It was also very dog‑friendly. The room was a decent size, well equipped, and we had booked the lowest price option. Cleanliness was top notch, and the food was very good. Paying £25 a night for our dog, I expected more room amenities like a dog bed or bowl. When we mentioned the broken external door in room 14 to reception, they promised maintenance would fix it, but nobody came. Staying during one of the windiest nights of the year, we didn’t get much sleep.
