“Definitely recommend”
I booked this place in July and the photos were spot on. The spot is walkable to almost everything—train street, beer street, the market, great restaurants, temples, parks, and more. If you need a grab car or bike, you’ll get one in seconds or minutes. The first‑floor restaurant serves breakfast and dinner; definitely try the egg coffee. The host is amazing—he replies in seconds, always available, and super helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt uneasy at first, so I reached out to him as the only person I knew in Vietnam; he was kind, texted me until I was in a safe space again, and kept checking in after. He also helped me with my very heavy suitcase when I checked out. Laundry was another plus—after weeks of country‑hopping, a washer/dryer was handy. The only downside is the stairs; I didn’t realize I’d have a huge suitcase and backpack when booking, and I was on the 4th floor, so it was a struggle. If you have a backpack or a small carry‑on, you’ll be fine, or if you’re okay lifting your bags up the stairs. Other than that, the stay was great.
