“A wonderful vacation, wonderfully open staff, caring about every guest. This hotel is worth a visit and a return visit.”

This is our second time in the Maldives. The hotel is constantly improving, and the staff is very kind and responsive. The menu is delicious and varied, especially when we tried traditional Maldivian cuisine on Saturday (weekly special event). We were fortunate enough to receive a room upgrade for the entire stay, for which we are especially grateful to the management and our manager, Alia. The reef is wonderful, and the bars are excellent. New villas are being opened on the other side of the island, and they are working hard to update all the equipment. The neighboring island is a local residential island. Some of the beach villas overlook it, so keep that in mind. When the staff realized we'd been upgraded, they tried to move us back, but after a short conversation, they were able to smooth things over. There's talk of dividing the hotel into two parts (new and old), but I hope that doesn't happen, because the entire island is wonderful

“The best holiday of our lives!”

It was the best holiday ever! The days were unforgettable; everything was simply perfect: the island’s beauty, the incredible reef, the endless fish and baby sharks, and the stunning accommodations—both overwater and beach villas. We truly felt like we were living in paradise! All of this was made even more special by the extraordinary staff who cared for us from start to finish. Their service was truly five‑star: attentive, caring, warm, and welcoming. They made us feel like part of one big family. A special thank you to Zidh, who was always incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive to every single request. At the pool bar, thanks to Gita (so lovely and kind!), Shakeeb, Yash, and Tharinda. At the restaurant, a huge thank you to Nizyiam, Roji, and Rita. And a special thank you to Chef Chaminda, who delighted us with delicious and delicate dishes. We also wanted to address a couple of points mentioned in previous reviews about the anti‑erosion walls and the local island opposite the resort. Yes, there are anti‑erosion walls, but honestly, the reef’s beauty and the incredible marine life take your breath away. We saw so many fish and sharks that it was impossible not to be amazed! As for the local island, the Maldives also consist of local islands, so for us, having one nearby was actually a plus. It made the experience feel even more authentic. We’re leaving with wonderful memories and hearts full of joy! ❤️ A little more evening entertainment and activities after dinner would have made our stay even better.

The all‑inclusive package covered meals and drinks all day. The beach villa with the new black pool (instead of the white one) was clean, had amenities, and felt relatively modern. There’s a mosque for prayers. Our resort host, Shafaan, was available, responsive, and kind. The resort lounge at the airport made the seaplane check‑in seamless and very fluid. The only downside was that the resort didn’t consider Muslim family constraints and rules—there was alcohol in the room by default, and wine was offered to the room without permission. Activities at the kids’ club were chargeable. Water‑sport activities were excessively priced, especially jetski, banana boat, and fun tube. Big‑game fishing was also very expensive and a very basic activity. The trolling experience was good, but the price was very high. Construction and carpentry work was happening daily right near the villas, with noise starting at 8 am. Dark grey smoke with a very bad smell appeared 2 or 3 times very close to our villa. The Aqua restaurant needs a fresh look.

“Eccezionale 5 stelle, ma isola molto costruita.”

The welcome and assistance felt like a true 5‑star experience, and the reef at the resort was amazing with sharks, sea eagles, and turtles; even though it was crowded, I never felt surrounded by people. They built a new bar with a pool and other overwater spots that still aren’t shown in the posted photos, and they even kept the only patch of intact sand. Overall, the island is heavily developed and, in my opinion, loses some of its charm.
