The only real plus was the location, halfway between Dubrovnik’s old town and Lapad. The bed was comfy, but we were hugely disappointed with the place: it didn’t match the photos or our expectations. The room was filthy—dust, grime, hair and fur everywhere, even in the toilet, and dust under the bed. The common areas were equally dirty, with food left in the sink, a dirty fridge and freezer, and food in the fridge that was dated September/August. The lounge didn’t look like the photo at all, and there was a spider‑related extra charge at the entrance. We didn’t realize before booking that the kitchen and lounge were shared spaces, as that wasn’t clearly stated. There was no real cooking equipment—no stove, no proper utensils, just a very dirty, smelly microwave. The kettle was also dirty at the bottom and unusable, and there was no coffee machine. Cooking was basically impossible under normal conditions, contrary to what the advertised amenities suggested. The room was tiny, with little storage, and we expected at least 15 m². The TV didn’t work either. The other room seemed larger, but its layout was different, with bathroom access through a shared corridor.
