“The Westbank - quiet, clean and well located for the Conference Centre”
This was the third consecutive time I stayed at the Westbank for our Conference at the Riviera Centre, which speaks volumes about the quality—otherwise I wouldn’t return. Berta gave a warm, genuine welcome (and maybe Chicco, her super friendly dog). After checking in, the room was ready and immaculately clean. Breakfast usually starts at 08.30, but I always needed an earlier time and it was never a problem; it was always substantial and very good. As the website says, parking is limited on a gradient, but there are some spaces on the road outside. If you need anything or have an issue, speak with Berta—she always has a solution. No issues.

We really loved our stay at the Westbank. The self‑contained flat below the main property was well equipped, very clean, and super comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to others and will be back for sure.

The spot is unbeatable, and there’s free parking. The hosts were very helpful, even fetching almond milk for my daughter’s morning cereal. Breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable. Nothing else to add.

Our stay at the Westbank Hotel felt like stepping into a gentler rhythm of life. From the moment we arrived, Berta welcomed us with genuine warmth that made the house seem to breathe kindness. She was perfect—attentive without intruding, graceful in every gesture, and gifted at making strangers feel instantly at home. The location is ideal, breakfast is a small morning celebration, and our room offered quiet comfort—spacious, serene, with an excellent shower and a bed that felt like a soft invitation to rest. We left with full hearts, convinced that hospitality, in the right hands, becomes almost art. Highly recommended. The only small “nice to have” would be a place to grab tap water whenever needed, but this is just a detail in an otherwise perfect experience.

Excellent location, plenty of parking space, a beautiful period house, and a cozy, stylish independent apartment that is self‑contained and perfect for an independent, relaxed holiday. It was spotless, bright, modern, and had excellent decor. Being a self‑catering option, I didn’t expect to find wonderful complimentary fresh products like milk, croissants, doughnuts, tea, and coffee, but they were there—a kind and generous gesture that was much appreciated. I really enjoyed my stay at the Westbank and will visit again when I’m in Torquay. Berta and Ed were gracious and attentive hosts; I felt relaxed and independent in my apartment yet supported and part of the household if I needed anything. It’s clear that Berta, Ed, and their two sons work hard to keep the place as it is—a very happy place to stay, home from home! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 💞 There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property or the hosts, who were extremely nice and helpful!
