The only plus was being close to the airport. I booked a room for the whole family days in advance, but when we arrived the front desk said that type was sold out and pushed us to another property claiming it was a branch of this hotel (named Minh Thư Hotel). My sister went to check‑in while I was out shopping, and the staff made her pay for the room up front, which is unusual since we only stayed one night and would normally settle the bill at checkout. Once we got the key we discovered why: the air‑conditioner didn’t cool, the bathroom was swarming with cockroaches, the linens looked dirty and smelled, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. Even though it was a different hotel, the original property should have arranged a proper room instead of sending us to such a terrible place – the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
