“Not fancy but gets the job done if one is attending an event at Barber Motorsports Park.”

The location was excellent—just 5 minutes from Barber Motorsports Park—but the building’s exterior didn’t give a good first impression. Inside, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom looked updated. There were no amenities to mention; there’s no pool, only Barber Motorsports Park as a local attraction, so it’s not a place to stay if you want to swim, explore many sights, or spend a week there.

“If you want a room under $100 without all the problems of under $100 hotels you have found it.”

This spot is a reliable, convenient, and safe midpoint between our homes in NC and Texas, well positioned in the city for mid‑trip stays. It sits right across the street from the Buc‑ees, adding value. Rooms are consistently available even when booking late, and the price stays under $100 without the usual problems of other under‑$100 hotels. We’ve even seen patrol cars making rounds once or twice each evening. There isn’t much to complain about; if you’re comparing it to a $150–$250 hotel you’ll be disappointed, but against other under‑$100 options it consistently wins.

“Disappointment”

The bed was comfortable, but there was no breakfast—just coffee and an almost out‑of‑date honey bun. At 60+ years old, I had to climb stairs with luggage. The site claimed there was a pool and a continental breakfast, but neither existed—this is the third time it’s been misleading. I will not use this place again.
