“Mensonge sur l'annonce. Ce n'est pas Alain”
The pool was spotless and really pleasant, and the beds felt comfortable for our family of four—two adults and two kids—in two adjoining rooms, with the beach and restaurants just a five‑minute walk away. However, the villa is no longer run by Alain the Frenchman; the listing and photos are misleading—there are no pool loungers, no kitchen, no hair‑dryer, no kettle, and the new Australian owner lives in one of the rooms and left a lot of stuff around, making us feel like we were staying in his house. We were woken at 5 am by a chorus of roosters, and although they supplied earplugs and eye masks, the noise was a deal‑breaker and we won’t return. Also, stay away from the “TOURISME OFFICE” next door; the staff are pushy about money and very nervous. The Indonesian staff, on the whole, were friendly.
