A very nice beer garden and a lovely breakfast. The room and bathroom look like they’re from the early ’80s, with a shower curtain in the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no shower gel and no TV.

The place was clean and quiet, but there was no TV.
The staff were warm and welcoming, the hotel was clean and quiet and the price fair, but the soaps were lacking and the towels were thin.
The place was very quiet, the climate stayed cool even in August, the food was exquisite and genuine, the breakfast included in the price was abundant and delicious, the staff were friendly and pleasant, and the room was beautiful, comfortable, always clean, and perfect.

Our room on the first floor was spacious with good beds, but there was no elevator and no luggage assistance; the carpet felt worn, the bathroom dated from the 1960s with a green‑curtain shower tray, the fridge was noisy, bright and glass‑door when running, dinner was served from 16:00 to 20:00 and we were told to be back in our room and quiet after 21:00 (we were warned at 21:15 while still on the balcony in tropical heat); the food was tasty but the daily menu was very limited, there was no TV or radio, the hotel sits about 3 km from Alpirsbach with a bus until 19:20, after which you’re limited to the restaurant or beer garden until 21:00 and then straight to bed.
