The location was good, but it wasn’t what the description said: they talked about gardens, yet the accommodation is on the third floor.

The Residencial was absolutely terrible, everything was bad… I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Nothing we liked, the facilities felt like a dungeon, deceptive advertising, they lied. To change rooms they asked for an extra $200 soles, so the rooms were even more cramped… and they never cleaned for a day. We had to do it ourselves.

The front‑desk staff were attentive to each of our needs, but the hotel isn’t on Shell Street and the reception is on the third floor.

The location is great, close to Kennedy Park, Larcomar, and most tourist spots in Miraflores, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable night; the staff were always very friendly. The building is old, requiring two stair climbs: five steps at the residential entrance and fifteen more after the reception to reach the rooms, which was tough with two large suitcases and a stroller.
