The host was lovely, and the vibe felt like a genuine Japanese house. The location was great, the place was clean and comfortable, and sleeping on a futon with a buckwheat shell pillow under an ultra‑light, warm comforter was amazing – we wholeheartedly recommend it!

“Felt traditional”

The host was incredibly sweet :) The family‑run business kept the room and bathroom spotless. She left thoughtful notes and fruit for us! There was nothing negative about the property.

The location was excellent! We were just off the road from a lively tourist street, yet still had easy access to the bus system. The place was very clean. Just be aware that the owner will enter your room each day when you’re away, but she sometimes left a treat for us, which was much appreciated.

“Ottimo soggiorno con esperienza vera da ryokan”

The traditional ryokan style is beautiful, and sleeping on the futon was very comfortable! The accommodation’s location is perfect at the start of the tourist area but well connected by bus to the center, very calm and quiet at night. The owner was very kind and friendly, leaving us welcome strawberries; we had a great stay. Recommended. Small notes that didn’t ruin the stay but I’d have preferred to avoid: there was no way to communicate whether we wanted a room refresh; we appreciated that the futons were arranged, but it was a bit odd to learn that someone had entered without notice. Another issue was the nighttime heat – it would have been nice to open the window, but there was a risk of animals like cats or opossums coming in. The air‑conditioner was present but slightly noisy. Finally, the price might be a bit high considering the shared bathroom. All in all, the stay was still very pleasant.
