I was just a short walk from the hospital bus station, which offers a regular bus every 15‑20 minutes to the city centre, and the host was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful.

The place is great for an early start on the Addenbrooke's site, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, but I didn't realise it was a shared bathroom rather than en suite.

When I entered, I was told to remove my shoes, but I hadn't been informed beforehand and there were no slippers provided; I could only exit the house through the back door and garden, the breakfast was a joke compared to what Booking claimed, the bathroom was very small, had no water pressure, and the toilet flush didn’t work.
