The place was spotless and well‑located, yet we arrived late and found no staff, and breakfast didn’t start until 9 am while the tours and activities began much earlier.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Banff; the location is a 1‑minute walk to town yet remains quiet. The room was spotless with a stunning mountain view, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after long hikes. Breakfast was fresh, healthy, and nutritious, and the host was very friendly—overall a cozy, relaxing place that I’d definitely recommend.

“The location was very good for walking to places around the city/town.”

We liked the simple breakfast, especially the hard‑boiled eggs, and the room was clean with a friendly attendant. However, the front desk required us to take off our shoes before heading to the room, a cultural practice I’m used to in Europe, and the modesty of the setting surprised me since I’d never paid that much for a room before.

The only bright side was the free parking and the central location, but the building was rundown, partially dirty, with mold in the bathroom. The room was tiny and shabby, and the price‑to‑value ratio was terrible.
