“Cheap, comfortable stay in West Kowloon”
A centrally‑located, very affordable hostel in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. The staff were friendly, communication was clear, and check‑in was smooth. Beds were comfortable, and the hostel offered toothbrushes, towels, and other facilities. It’s extremely well‑priced for the location and service. However, it’s in a single flat of a high‑rise on Nathan Road, so it’s very small and can be hard to find for those unfamiliar with East Asian addresses. It’s a basic hostel, so if you want more than just a place to stay, look elsewhere.

The staff were extremely kind, and the room’s cleaning seemed perfect, so I could sleep well. The shower room and toilet were clean, though the space felt a little tight compared to Japanese business hotels, but it was usable. The room had no windows, which might feel a bit unsettling for first‑timers.
“Better pay more than stay here”
The location is great—Jordan metro is just around the corner, and you can reach everything you need. We understand this is a cheap option by Hong Kong standards, but we can’t recommend it for anyone who plans to stay longer than just going out all day and sleeping at night (we had to stay for work). The room had no windows, yet we could hear loud street noise, constant construction elsewhere in the building, and guests checking in or out in the corridor. The wallpaper was so worn that it had tapeworm‑like patches, and I accidentally got one stuck to me while sleeping. The room needs better cleaning. We turned the fan once and noticed a strange “old room” smell; it seemed the fan had a lot of dust. Wi‑fi is decent but not good enough for video calls.
The hotel was spotless and the staff went out of their way to help; everything felt flawless.
