“Beautiful and quiet villa in Polhena close to everything”
Kristel and Dumindu were very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The villa is in a great spot – just a short walk from Polhena beach (where you can swim with turtles) and all the eateries (my favorite was the Surf Lodge). The space feels curated and relaxing, and I loved the interior design. The sheets were of amazing quality, the room was very clean and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The host was kind and welcoming, and the location is fantastic – just a short walk from the sea and plenty of good restaurants, cafés, and bars. Turn right at the end of the road for surf breaks and left for snorkeling with turtles! The breakfast was beautiful and the vibe was very relaxing. The rooms are a little dark, and there’s a ceiling fan but no A/C unit.

We booked two rooms, received confirmation, but when we arrived there was only one room available, so we had to share a bed for two couples! The villa’s exterior does not match the site images at all!! We can’t comment on the rest because we didn’t stay. We stayed at the door and left because there weren’t enough rooms, and they charged us $100 for the cancellation request! I do not recommend this place at all! The downside of the situation: we are French, stuck in Sri Lanka, and the confirmed booking was not honored!
