The grill evening and the swimming pool were great. Everything else was top.

The hotel was very well kept in a rural setting, rooms were spotless, food and drinks were top, staff were very friendly, the beer garden was wonderful, the indoor pool was very clean, we had a barbecue night with everything you could wish for, a buffet night, and a menu with huge portions, rooms had large balconies, bathrooms were big enough and absolutely clean. The only downside was that the bathroom had a bit of limited storage space.

We liked the food, both the breakfast and dinner buffets, there was a wide variety of dishes and plenty for vegetarians, the food tasted very fresh and well seasoned, the buffet and the hotel overall were extremely clean, the staff were super friendly and motivated, the location is great for hikers. The sauna area is sufficient, but there aren't many relaxation options; overall it feels cramped, only 3 loungers, which is a problem even for two couples. A larger lounge with more space would be nice. We were there in spring; given the space shortage I wouldn't come in winter when the sauna is likely more crowded, only 3 loungers for 44 rooms – that would feel stressful. A kettle with some coffee or tea in the room would be nice.
