The property is in a fantastic spot and it’s a cute place. However, the room was dirty and dusty, and there was a dead bug in the bath light fixture. Cobwebs were everywhere, and there were marks on the ceilings and walls. The ceiling fan was broken and rattled like it could fall out if left on. Breakfast consisted of muffins and bagels in a fridge that you had to heat yourself. Downstairs, a strange sewage smell came from the kitchen and bathroom area.

The location was amazing, and the room and bathroom were clean. I enjoyed the photogenic art and Victorian furniture. For a bed‑and‑breakfast, it should be clearer that the breakfast is a self‑serve “continental” type from the refrigerator—muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. The online photos showing a dining room table and seating were misleading.

It’s on Dickson Street but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Parking is free, so there’s nothing to complain about, but it was a bit tricky to maneuver a larger car out of the top‑level spaces.
