“Friendly and welcoming but far from center.”
The staff spoke English and were very friendly, and the a/c was cold and working, which was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. But it’s very far from the centre. Parking is tiny, only small cars fit, and it’s mostly street parking. Climbing the spiral stairs to the upper rooms is an extreme challenge if you can’t walk well or have disabilities. There are no outside security cameras to protect visitors.
“Все було добре, ціна і якість співпадають”
I’d say the price‑to‑room ratio is good. The room is small, the renovation isn’t new, but everything was fine. I especially want to mention how we were welcomed; we checked in late at night and were met with a warm greeting. The service is top‑level.
The location was super convenient and the 24‑hour check‑in worked great. I could leave my car in the courtyard or on the street; the area is quiet. They assured me the parking was safe, and there’s a church nearby that felt like a blessing. We just wanted a shower and a quick 6‑hour sleep – it was clean. The staff were friendly, and when I asked for a kettle and a hair dryer they brought them along with cups and tea sachets. The room was very compact, but I’d recommend it as a transit spot. The towels weren’t white anymore, but they were clean – maybe that’s normal for the price, I can’t say.
The property sits in a very quiet suburb of Budapest, a short walk from Paskál Thermal bath. A small Tesco shop is nearby for groceries, drinks, or food, and the 77 bus stop is close, with buses every 10 minutes until late evening that can take you downtown. It’s a good choice if you want a quiet spot with no crowds and close to a thermal bath that isn’t very busy. The downside is there’s no restaurant on the premises; you’ll need to find coffee shops, eateries, or restaurants nearby.
The room was cozy and spotless, the receptionist was kind, and the location was excellent and easy to reach. Nothing to report.
