Room 203 is the best, but for a two‑night stay room 201 is fine. A 7‑Eleven opened nearby. Western‑style familiar udon noodles, Chinese dishes, and the restaurant Fukuyuan. The public bath is close to Yoshino‑yu, but the real hot spring at Mimatsu is also recommended for bathing. The back decorative shelf could be replaced with furniture that can hang clothes or dry them, which would be nice.

The spot was spot‑on, right next to public transport, major shops and eateries, and after emailing the host for a dining suggestion, they sent a spot‑on recommendation.

The freezer was huge, the room had a microwave, the toilet and shower were comfortable, and the free washing machine was a real help. The hair dryer was dusty and insects fell out of it.

The room was a good size with comfy facilities, the washing machine was handy and check‑in was smooth. The walls are thin, so you can hear neighbors, but it didn’t bother us. It’s a 20‑25 minute walk with luggage from the train station, though there are bus options if you’re carrying heavy stuff.
