The staff were very kind and smiling, but the atmosphere felt very austere, the room was hot, and the owner never greeted me or said thank you when I paid. I was also charged for breakfast even though it was supposed to be included in the price.

The room was spotless, cozy, and well kept. Booking was straightforward, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly return.

I had an amazing stay at Hummingbirds Hotel in Jaffna, loving every detail. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, tranquil, and well maintained. The hospitality was outstanding, with friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome throughout. A special thank you to Mr. Praba, the owner, who was very friendly, kind, and welcoming; his personal attention made the experience even better. You can really see the care he puts into ensuring guests feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay again—definitely a 10/10! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honestly, I found nothing to complain about; everything was excellent and I had a very pleasant stay.

Great breakfast and location. The staff (Prem, Faustina—thanks!) were very helpful. The information about the button in the room for hot water was missing, and there was no bottled water in the room. I also wanted a sheet instead of the smooth fabric blanket, which was arranged right away.

Service was superb. Prem and Faustina did everything to make me feel at home in the Humming Birds. There were no comfortable chairs, and the balcony had no ventilation, so it felt stuffy.
