“Very rude receptionist Diana”
The location is good and the room is decent if it has an air conditioner. I stayed only one night. The front‑desk lady, Diana, was very rude and unapproachable. I was given a room with see‑through curtains (I have photos) and no air conditioner. It was October, but the temperature was high and the sun came through the thin curtains, making the room very hot. When I asked about the AC, she said they don’t turn it on in autumn. She then moved me to another room on the second floor (there was no elevator, I carried three bags up the stairs) that had an AC as described by the hotel. She never apologized, was constantly grumpy, and seemed to hate her job and people. In the new room, around 10 pm I wanted to use the bathroom. I had used it before, but suddenly the door was stuck and I couldn’t get in. I called reception three times, no answer. I got dressed and went downstairs; Diana was there doing nothing. I told her the bathroom door was stuck and I called, but no one answered. Again, no empathy. If someone called for an emergency, Diana would probably not answer because she’s not in the mood. She told me I needed a key to use the bathroom (what does that mean, I used it before!) and I had to wait five minutes for her to check a bunch of keys, then she came upstairs with me to open the door with a knife. She then told me not to close the bathroom door anymore. No apology, no empathy. I slept with the bathroom door open and could hear water running from the toilet all night, so I didn’t get a good rest. The Wi‑Fi also didn’t work. Overall, the room with AC was okay, the hotel is fine and the location is great, but this receptionist makes you feel like a burden and as if you’ve disturbed her day. Customer service is zero, soft skills are zero. She barely talked and never smiled. Absolutely terrible. The guy in the morning was nice, though.
