The place was close to the port, which was handy since we boarded a cruise the next morning. Finding the entrance was tricky; the door only locks from the inside, so the owner could access the room while we were out. The sheets had dog hair and black hair stuck to them, as if they weren’t washed separately from household items. The wardrobe had two drawers full of a man’s dark clothing, which was odd.

The location was close to the city centre and the cruise terminal. The bathroom was nice and the place was quiet. There was no lock on the outside of the door, so we couldn’t secure the room when we left.

Comfy in the centre, very clean. A spacious room with a large bathroom and two twin beds. Inside a historic building in a typical Trieste apartment, very characteristic. Convenient given the price. The kettle is a bit old. If you finish the toilet paper it would be nice to receive two rolls, not one at a time. I found that amusing 😊
