I liked the outside patio; it was a very nice place for relaxing. The air conditioning was horrible when walking in and to the rooms—it was very hot and I did not like that at all. The air conditioning needs to be fixed ASAP.

A decent breakfast and the location is convenient, being close to the highway.

There was a gentleman at the breakfast station this morning (7/25). He offered to put my bags at the table while I loaded my plate. I replied that nothing really interested me except the biscuits and they were empty. He said, “Hold one moment please.” Within just a couple of minutes, a woman appeared with a tray of fresh biscuits! He was already back in the dining area asking people if he could fill their coffees, buss tables, doing anything you can think of. He checked on us twice during the meal. This gentleman this morning was exceptional! I wish I had had the chance to tell him that he made my whole day! The check‑in process was less than desirable but not bad. There were 3 families in line ahead of us when we walked in. The guy at the table apologized to all of us behind him because there was a sign stating away from desk or call this number or something (the sign was taken down when the gentleman got to the desk so I was not able to read it for myself). When the gentleman working the desk finally arrived there was a lot of confusion about quite a few things with each order. When we got to our turn, the gentleman just stared at his computer screen and asked my last name without looking up or saying hello. He spoke very little during our entire transaction for check‑in, which took about 10–15 minutes. The whole interaction for the 45‑minute check‑in, he said 10 words at most. It would greatly help to have someone at the front desk, even give them a chair if they need it. The front guy waited 30 minutes to find someone, then about 30 minutes to check in, the second guy sent his family to go sit down since theirs also took over 30 minutes. That put us there 1.5 hours before even being helped.

The kitchen is on the property. Motorcycle parking under the overhang was not allowed.
