The location was good, the owner was helpful, and having a fridge to keep a few drinks was useful. However, the heating turned off at night, so it was only warm when I was in bed; we had to spend extra time in the restaurants to make up for it.

Great location to explore the Logar Valley, surrounded by farm animals. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and featured homemade delights (cheese, yogurt, jam, etc.), and you could order a custom egg dish. The hosts were very laid‑back, helpful, and genuinely delighted to welcome guests.

The location was quiet with beautiful views, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the place was advertised as having a bar and restaurant on site. The bar only offered access to an 'honesty' fridge, and the restaurant provided no options for an evening meal, with a single service at 6pm. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, even though a kettle was supplied upon request, which was essential given the isolated location.
