The food served in the restaurant was also top-notch

I was satisfied with our stay.
“Very well restored 17th century coaching inn, bedrooms immaculate, staff excellent , breakfasts excellent but not includ”
The room was clean and had a rustic yet modern feel. It got a bit hot, the ceiling fan helped but the heat was still there.
Nice and clean, with lovely pub food!!
The place was spotless, had everything you could need, the lighting was great, there were plenty of drinks, and the TV was huge. Nothing else to complain about.
The staff were incredibly friendly, the decor in the snug, restaurant, and room was lovely, and the food was fabulous. The bar area and beer garden looked a bit sorry for themselves, but the snug more than made up for that. Obviously in an old building there's no air‑con but the rooms were incredibly hot and the windows couldn't be opened. We did get a small fan on request which helped a bit, but still found it difficult to sleep.
