“Lugar inmundo”
When we arrived, the staff told us the hotel was under renovation and that we would be moved to another hotel with similar features; the building they escorted us to was in terrible condition, poorly maintained, lacked towels until the next day, and was infested with cockroaches and mosquitoes, showing a complete lack of hygiene. The “restaurant” consisted of two tables set up in the middle of a hallway. Without explanation, they switched us to another room, which was even worse: it had no balcony, and one had no shower space at all, with the shower tap positioned over the toilet—such a disgrace. A real scam.
We booked this hotel but were redirected to a different property that supposedly looked like the one in the pictures; the price was high, and we felt cheated because we expected the original hotel to be worth the money.
