The location was good. The parking spot next to the door was convenient and the entrance worked straight out with a dog. The room had poor ventilation, the TV channels weren’t available, and the curtains were too heavy.

The location was fine, but the room was cold. In the end I found a way to warm it up, yet there was no one to ask for help because no staff were on site.

The breakfast was comprehensive and healthy.

My room was spotless and even had its own balcony, which was perfect when I wanted some peace, and the breakfast was a highlight with a solid selection that seemed to suit everyone – I’m not a big breakfast eater, but they had exactly what I craved: eggs, bacon, cold cuts, peppers, tomatoes and, of course, coffee. On the downside, the place felt a bit intimidating as a first‑time guest: there was nobody at the reception, I had to collect the key from an external lockbox whose code was sent to my phone, and I heard noises later in the evening, confirming other guests had arrived despite the hotel supposedly being closed for a while. I only met one staff member during breakfast, the same person I paid for the night’s stay, which was disappointing because there should have been more space for guests, but it seemed understaffed.
