The direct hiking trails, the stunning view, the beautifully crafted woodwork, the excellent and very tasty breakfast with homemade bread, honey, and nut spread, the lovely bathrooms, and the cozy beds were all highlights. Once the fire crackled in the fireplace, we felt completely comfortable.

The spot is gorgeous in a magnificent setting. The log fire creates a relaxed, tech-free vibe. Nothing was missing; everything was superb. The host Tim was fabulous and super friendly, and there was no trouble at all.

The location right in the middle of the night and the hiking paths straight into the New Zealand bush! The covered terrace lets you stay outside even when it rains. A place created with love!
