The view was great. Because it was hot in the summer, I had confirmed before leaving that the island‑hopping tour I booked would be on an air‑conditioned luxury speedboat, so I cancelled the NTD 2400 Get‑Your‑Guide trip and signed up for the hotel’s over‑NTD 9000 excursion. Then, two days before departure, the hotel told us that bad weather meant the aviation authority had banned trips to the pink sand beach and Padar Island, and they switched us to a nearby‑shore itinerary. What really irritated me was that the hotel replaced the promised air‑conditioned luxury boat with a charter that other guests were using, leaving us on a boat without AC. It felt like they were putting profit before honesty, and almost a month after checkout I still haven’t received any notice about the price difference refund.
