The location was central, yet it felt like a former apartment turned into individual units; obstacles had to be navigated in the hallway, and it was very loud and echoey.

The location is excellent, right behind the Vatican with a view of the dome of St. Peter; the room is clean, fully equipped, even more than necessary, and the staff are kind and helpful.

The spot was convenient for my trip, but the room only had a bed and a credenza that doubles as a kitchen; there was no blanket, just a sheet. The air conditioning barely worked, which was fine since there was no blanket. The bathroom sink was clogged and the place was generally dirty because it didn’t drain. The key to the room was actually a skeleton key, like the one you use for a bedroom in someone’s home. The Wi‑Fi, however, performed well.
