The hotel is stunning, and the staff were incredibly lovely, friendly, welcoming and accommodating; its location is unbeatable, with many restaurants and attractions just a short walk away.

The hotel sits right in Rome’s city centre, making Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Colosseum very easy to reach, and the rooms are spacious enough to avoid any stress. However, the staff’s vibe was not particularly upbeat compared to other European hotels; they seemed lacking in energy and smiles, and when I called to request extra amenities they never brought them to my room, so I had to go to the front desk in person.

The staff were professional, but my room was not clean—my white socks were covered in someone’s hair, the bathroom glass was dirty, and the coffee machine was unclean and not refurbished. The next day there was no coffee, tea, or sugar from the owner of a hotel in the Bahamas, which is unacceptable. It shows a lack of room‑inspection before guests arrive. I arrived at 8.30 am but didn’t get to the room until 10.00 pm, so I consider the hotel overpriced. Regards, Katherine Johnson.
