There wasn’t enough lighting, the elevator could only be used with a card, and the hotel sits inside a tiny marketplace.

The rooms were spacious, yet there was no in‑house restaurant so we had to order food elsewhere and bring it in. The hot‑water system runs on solar and takes a while to heat up. Being in the heart of a market area gives it more of a lodge vibe than a hotel, and the lift can only be used with room cards, though the staff helped us get access. The corridor smelled heavily of cigarettes, which was unpleasant for non‑smokers.

The room was decent, but the bath towel and bed sheet had stains, the TV had no remote and wasn’t working even after a new set‑top box was provided, the washroom was cramped, and there were cockroaches in the room.

The location is often touted as great, but in reality it was below average and definitely not worth the money I paid, especially since there were no restaurants nearby and the approach roads were very bad.

The mattresses needed replacement, the bed linen was torn, the AC required servicing, the TV lacked the necessary channels, and the room faced the main road, making it noisy.
