The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was stunning, and the food at the restaurant below was superb.

The location was great in a quiet, charming town just a few dozen metres from the lake, ideal for a break from larger cities and for beautiful sunsets. The rooms were large enough, fully equipped, clean, with comfortable beds, a balcony and air‑conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful, though not very fluent in English. Breakfast was good, and the other meals at the restaurant were excellent. A minor drawback was the lack of a lift and steep stairs, and a small issue at check‑in after 2 p.m. required calling and trying to communicate. Overall everything was great.

The tranquility was wonderful.

The hotel was lovely, with rooms completely renovated without losing their character, fully equipped, well organised, and with clear information. The balcony with a direct view of the lake was not an exaggeration. Breakfast offered only sweet Italian items, but the variety and abundance were impressive. I didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but its presence is convenient. The rooms face the village nightlife, which is cheerful if you want it, but if you prefer acoustic isolation it’s excellent. I’ll come back. The parking situation is not really a hotel issue but a warning: the hotel lists itself under “free parking” and says customers can park in the free spots along the lakeside, which is *extremely* optimistic; parking is only available for up to an hour, streets are swept in shifts, and long‑term spots are closed for work and events, so you risk having to park far away, in a prohibited area, and in a dangerous spot. It’s better to arrive early and then take a bus.
