This wonderful place exists in the middle of nowhere. It's an inn on former school grounds, check‑in was easy, the room was well equipped and the bed was great, and I had a very nice time here.

Large room, fridge, nice pool and whirlpool. Eva's Coffee next door offers great food.

The room was well appointed, clean, spacious and bright. The location was great and the staff were accommodating, and it was a unique place—an old school turned into a wonderful hotel.

A charming and comfortable place to stay, located close to the western entrance of Algonquin Park, surrounded by beautiful greenery and near a lovely lake, making it a peaceful spot before or after visiting the park. Our room had been nicely renovated with lots of wood for a warm, cozy atmosphere, and we especially liked the decorative fireplace that also helped keep the room warm. The bathroom was clean, modern, and nicely done. The corridor leading to the room still needs some renovation, but this did not affect our stay. Overall, the accommodation was very pleasant, comfortable, and full of charm. We didn’t meet the owners in person, but they were very kind and supplied all the information needed for a smooth, easy self‑check‑in.

I stayed at this spot and the host was fantastic. The room was huge and the school‑style concept and facilities were great. I couldn’t use every amenity, but the place is nice and the neighborhood is quiet. Driving there was a pleasure, especially with the fall colors adding to the experience.
