“Frequent pleasant stay”
The location and staff are great, but the vending machines were generally out of stock for water.

Great services

We ate at the on‑site restaurant for breakfast; my son loved the pancakes and I liked my food, but my wife’s dish didn’t come out properly. The staff upfront were very helpful and kind. My biggest concern was that the washer and dryers didn’t work—after Niagara Falls we tried three washers that failed, finally finding one that worked but took about six hours of our stay that we’d otherwise have spent exploring town. All the dryers were taken up, half were out of service, and we were locked out of the building because our cards worked on the way out but not coming back in; the engineer was right there and let us in. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all; we asked about it, they didn’t know, and it remained broken after four days. We also wanted to use the swimming pool, but its very limited hours meant we never got to use it.

The king bed was comfy and I slept well. The TV should have been wall‑mounted. There was no hand soap, only a bar soap in the bathroom. In my daughter’s room she found stains on the mattress protector, which was disappointing. I wish the RIT Inn were closer to RIT, walkable even. I stayed there for a night to support my daughter, a freshman at NTID, who didn’t like staying in the dorm because she wanted the real campus life, and I don’t blame her.

The area is very walkable, the room was spacious and comfy, and the staff who checked us in were friendly and let us in early. The bedding had a bit of a musty smell.
